About Hexagonal Chess — Gameplay & Story
Enjoy a unique adaptation of the usual chess — the online game Hexagonal Chess, where the process takes place on a special board consisting of hexagonal cells. Despite maintaining the basic rules, the non-standard geometry of the field radically changes the familiar dynamics of the game. Unlike a regular square board, any square that is not on the very edge now borders on six adjacent ones. This key innovation significantly increases the mobility of all figures, which in this version are no longer able to move diagonally. An increased number of directions for movement along adjacent cells opens up completely new tactical and strategic opportunities for each player. Your main task in Hexagonal Chess is to effectively use all these features to checkmate the enemy king.
